I too have bad memories from root canals in my past.my experience was outstanding. We were moving two days later and they fit me in. Dr. Ellingson thoroughly explained my options but didn’t push. My regular dentist concurred with her encouragement that I opt to try and save my tooth. It was successful. The entire staff helped to make my time at the office efficient and pleasant. They didn’t numb me properly. I had pain through the whole root canal and afterwards I wasn’t numb either. I could drink water. Usually when I have dental work it doesn’t hurt and I’m numb for a couple of hours but I was in shock afterwards. It was a horrible experience.
